Fieldtester Chris has been fishing at a new venue Aspen Lake Fishery and picked the furthest swim on the lake which is right in the teeth of this storm. After picking my spots I tried tried a different baiting approach on each rod too see what will work best on this water.  1 rod with Hemp & Maize, 1 rod with Nut 365 Boilies and the 3rd rod with Flatz Pellets. Ronnie rigs with a 12mm Black Jack Pop Up was cast onto all 3 spots but it was the rod over the Flatz pellets that slipped up this beast at 33lb 4oz.

Cold days!

Used Tutti Frutti 12mm boilies this winter - Pop ups soaked in Tutti Frutti Betalin. Accounted for @50% more fish than companion using a popular coconut flavored boillie (over several trips on 3 different waters temps down to +3 ) - 18 carp so far.

Texture is soft which is a plus because I have been using crumbled baits in PVA with single boillie hook bait. Not tried the method without the Betalin to measure the results, might try that and post another review.

Quite expensive baits but excellent in the winter.

prepared hemp

excellent service as usual , the only down side I was not allowed to order more then 4 kilos at a time ?
But the Hemp is top quality highly recommended.

Haven’t used the baits yet will write a review when used
