Been to Carpvale today for the 1st round of the spring series! Drawing arm still doing the business after pulling out 31 on match lake. I wasn't overly pleased to draw it if I'm honest, wind was howling down the lake ( just for a change!) Fancied a day on the rods on Cyprio. 

Started off on the bomb then the method first 45m while sorting out pole rigs and chasing top kits around in the wind. Didn't have any signs on either. Wind has made pole at any length in open water un-fishable. Spent the match rotating 4 margin lines, fished a top kit down either side of my own platform, also fished to peg 30 and 32 platforms, all lines fed with 6 and 4mm Hinders Carp Pellets covered in Tutti Booster Liquid. 
Been a tough day really, just catching the odd carp every now and again. Exciting though, riving them out on 20-22 slik with 0.20 power micron line. Ended up with 22 carp that weighed 63lb to win the section and the match! Nice start to the series .
