Arriving at Flaxlands just having a look around and unsure whether to get the rods out I was persuaded by Steve who said that it was fishing well. I set up on Peg 8, starting feed tight to the island while setting up and the carp were showing. I clipped up tight with the help from Steve feeding over the top. I tried various hook baits Hinders Boosted Pellets in Wonderberry, Sweet plum and Just the Ticket Groundbait. 40 fish later the session was done. A fun day all round
