Ringers Bait Winter Match at Barston Lakes

Barston Lakes today in the Ringers Baits Christmas Paris match. I’ve drawn peg 22 and my parter Michael Hightower Reeves has drawn 110.

I’ve started at 60m and had 2 quick skimmers. Chased them out to 80m but not had another bite. With an hour to go I’ve seen some sings of fish at 30m. I’ve Dropped a small open alloy method with 2mm pellet flavoured in Hinders Tutti Booster Liquid, had 3 big carp including one about 16lbs and a small skimmer to finish the match.

I’ve weighed 43lbs 12oz which has won my section my partner had had 15lbs and also won his section. We’ve ended drawing with one other pair also on 2 points but have unfortunately been beaten on weight so ended up coming 2nd with Adam Rooney and Dean Barlow winning overall.
