Describe yourself as an angler:I've been fishing for the best part of 25 years and about 20 of them years have been spent chasing carp. Over the years I’ve put my hand to most types of fishing catching most species along the way  but my real passion will always be carp fishing. Due to life commitments I don’t get to spend as much time as I’d like to on the bank with most of my fishing being short day or over night sessions. I’m a firm believer in maximising the time I do have, by staying mobile, finding the fish and using top quality products from hinders allows me to do this. 

Favourite Venue:Whelford pools, this is where it all started for me and where I learnt my craft

Favourite Method/Approach:Stalking/surface fishing

Favourite Hinders Bait:Nut 365 & Blitz Range both of these baits include a fantastic range of products from boilies to glugs and matching hookbaits I have nothing but confidence to take these baits anywhere 

Most memorable session:For me it was the night I caught my pb. I’d spent 12 months chasing this fish around my syndicate without catching it. I knew the fish was due out and I knew where it had previously been caught so with this in mind and having the venue to myself I set about getting the rods in position. Around 10pm a friend came to join me and with in half an hour of his arrival out of the blue the middle rod went into action. After a long battle back through the weed the fish slipped over the cord, this was the first time I’d seen what I was attached to and knew instantly it was the one I was after.

Target for the next 12months:Catch a 30lb+ common carp
