After a lazy Saturday fishing was on my mind, Sunday started off slow and cold at Flaxland's although the fish were occasionally showing which gave me hope.

Tactics for the day were a bit different to usual, with the temperature being quite low i decided to start off with both rods fishing the bomb with boosted barrels. This resulted in a couple of fish although i felt it wasn't as productive as it could be, a quick switch to a feeder with C Food expander on one rod along with more regular casting and the bites started to come. Bites were slow but steady over the next few hours but included this lovely 14lb mirror. Overall 6 fish in as many hours and i was happy.

With the lunchtime quiet spell just beginning much like the numbness in my fingers i decided it was time to go. Nick
