Back at the Southern Park Lake

I arrived back at the lake for a quick overnighter, the swim I had previously fished was taken so I opted to fish to the right of the lake. This would allow me to fish very close to the area I caught the 2 fish earlier in the week. It was hard judging the distance as I had never fished this swim but I was happy with my spots baited again with 20 miniSpombs of cell boilies and HindersSalt n Pepper Hemp andHinders Pellet Combo to each spot. The night was quiet but at 5.00am I hooked a very angry carp and after 20 minutes I still had not seen it. This was a crazy fight and it was not until 5.40am that I slipped the net under a pretty mirror. On the scales she went 26lb 11oz, a quick photo and then off to work.
