After trying to avoid the bank holiday rush (and other commitments) I got to the lake late Monday afternoon. A couple of laps later found me set up, traps set and awaiting the night to draw in. Over the space of the night and following morning, I had consistent takes every few hours, resulting in 5 carp to upper doubles by 10 am.

After an expected quiet afternoon I added the 6th carp of the trip late evening before an uneventful night and morning other than a tench to finish the session.
All of the action came to a heavily baited area of Hinders Hemp, Chopped Tigers and Mixed Nut 365 Boilies with hook baits consisting of the Nut 365 pop-ups.
