After trying to avoid the bank holiday rush (and other commitments) I got to the lake late Monday afternoon. A couple of laps later found me set up, traps set and awaiting the night to draw in. Over the space of the night and following morning, I had consistent takes every few hours, resulting in 5 carp to upper doubles by 10 am.

After an expected quiet afternoon I added the 6th carp of the trip late evening before an uneventful night and morning other than a tench to finish the session.
All of the action came to a heavily baited area of Hinders Hemp, Chopped Tigers and Mixed Nut 365 Boilies with hook baits consisting of the Nut 365 pop-ups.

Quality

New to Hinders but every thing ive seen so far is nothing but positive, with a fish in the net on first use, It certainly looks good and is clearly made from "the right stuff" regards

Handy bag of tigers

I used to prepare and grind tiger nuts but these bags are so handy and keeps for ages, like to add to my solid bag mix.

Carpy Green Beanie Hat

Normally I wear the baseball type hat but, on the colder mornings, not only is this warmer but it is also apprecieated by my ears that are normally left out in the cold!! Great quality item.

Tutti 11mm boosted pellets and 8mm feed pellets

I purchased the 11mm boosted pellets as an alternative hookbait to my usual beta'nana wafters I'm currently using in solid PVA bags, I haven't used them yet as I'm glugging them with hinders tutti booster liquid prior to usage in the near future. The 8mm feed pellets I've used before and were purchased to top up my dwindling supply as I know they are excellent both catapulted out and as an additional item in my solid PVA bag mix, latest catch with them was a carp of 20lb 8oz followed by a smaller carp in the worst conditions ( frost and an easterly wind) two of only three carp caught that day
