After a long hiatus from fishing, Richie finally managed to spend a few hours on a river for some angling action. His fortunes turned around after introducing a few Betalin soaked golden grains of sweetcorn to potential spots. The tactic paid off when he landed a stunning grayling just over a pound, followed by another one about 8-10 ounces.
But it was the third fish that proved to be the highlight of the day, a huge wild grayling that weighed under 2lb 7oz. After taking photos and waiting for the fish to fully recover, he landed another heavy fish that turned out to be one of the eight fish over 1lb he caught that day
