Winning Weekend for Polly

Mark Pollard had a fantastic weekend with wins both days, one on a commercial and one on the river, here's his quick rundown of both matches.....

On Saturday I fished Rookery Waters open match on Raven. I drew peg 8 and with every peg in as it was a sell out I was expecting it to be tough. I fished Hinders Dampened micros with Polly's Eazy Expander 4mm on the hook tight over then changing to dead reds and Supercharged Margin and Method Mix 50/50. I caught F1s and then Carp to win the match with 117lb.

On Sunday I fished an open match at Willington on the Great Ouse. I drew peg 30 and fished Polly's Supercharged Natural Black with pinkie on the hook for the first half of the match catching small Roach and changed to unshipping for bleak at 11m for the second half. I had 270+ fish for 9lb 8ozs and a match win making a great weekend double and a lovely Father's Day to boot

I also qualified for the final that Steve Drakulic is running in conjunction with these series of opens in August.
