My name is Frank Donachie, I am born and bred in Swindon and I have been fishing since I can remember. I have been lucky enough to win a string of open matches including the 1999 all winners final at gold valley. Due to the loss of a close friend I took a break from fishing until 9 years ago. Since then I have been lucky enough to win a number of opens at Ridgeway, and hold the match record of 495lb. I joint won the Manor Farm Festival on the first time of trying as well as joint winning the winter league on the same venue with my superstar son Gary.
In 2015, I qualified for the Fishomania final at Cudmore and came close the following year coming second to Steve Jackson. Most importantly I have made so many friends in this sport. I've had numerous sponsors over the years from Diawa, Browning, Colmic and Mosella UK. But I am very happy to be part of the team at Hinders, a brilliantly run bait company by gurus and quality anglers.
