About Me
I began fishing at 14, taking regular trips to Llyn y Gors Fishery in Anglesey with a friend’s parents—since then, I’ve been completely hooked. I gradually moved into the club and match fishing scene, winning a number of matches and leagues along the way. I enjoy every aspect of the sport, from the pure thrill of fishing to bait and product testing, media work, and helping others improve. I’ve recently taken on the role of UK General Manager for Middy Match Range, a challenge I’m excited to develop alongside leading the Hinders Bait Match Team into 2026.

Favourite Venue:A close tie between a private syndicate lake I have access to, and Anglers Paradise.

Favourite Species:Tench and Barbel

Favourite Methods:Slop shallow, mugging, and maggot-over-groundbait down the edge.

Favourite Hinders Bait:A tough choice, but for shallow fishing it has to be Salmon Fry used as slop. Down the edge, Blitz Multi Mix is my go-to, and the full Expander range is unbeatable for both method and long-pole work.

Most Memorable Session:The first match my little boy joined me on. We won with 253lb fishing slop shallow, and from that day he’s loved coming along whenever the venue allows it.

Targets for the Next 12 Months:Qualify for a major final, Catch my first river Barbel, Catch my first Grayling and Catch my first Zander!

Personal Best Highlights:
Current lake record holder with 404lb
100lb bag of ide and skimmers
Numerous match and league wins
