Name:Connor Parker

Lives in:Kent

Occupation:Civil Service

Angling Category: Carp Angling

Describe yourself as an angler:Been angling sine a young kid, taught by my dad and grandad. Started fishing small day ticket waters and club venues leading into syndicates and big pits. I love fishing over big beds of bait with match the hatch pop ups/ wafters. However, pinging some zigs out in the winter months is always a great way to catch an odd fish in tough times. My UK PB is 43lb and French being 48lb. Quick work overnighters are great but a nice long 48 hour on the bank is my go-to. With being a shift worker, it is great as I can get out mid-week instead of being around the weekend rush!

Favourite Venue:Burners Hall

Favourite Species:Carp

Favourite Method/ApproachBig beds of bait

Favourite Hinders Bait: Blitz Range 1000%

Most memorable sessionA recent week long session on a club water with my best mate, leading to multiple 40lb carp being caught and the big girl in the lake that he has had twice now at the first time being 60.8lb and the second time being at 65.6lb (this breaking the club record). Being there to be able to photograph this fish and be there whilst he caught a fish of a lifetime and sharing the experience was great.

Target for the next 12months:5 UK 40lbers, 10 UK 30lbers, and a PB

Current Personal Best Captures include:

43lb mirror (PB) from Burners Hall

40.8lb mirror from club lake
