Simon Perry with one of the last fish of 2018. 4 in total was a tough session as I had to wait for the swim to become free. I never like to jump in after someone but thats the modern carping world now. Nut 365 doing the trick again.

Harry fished the Ringers pairs at Boddington Reservoir. He drew peg 106 down in the sanctuary. He set up a 4m horizon XD and a 4.3m horizon XD both with a large Open alloy method feeder and a 4” hook length of .20 power micron and a 14 carp rigger hook with various hook baits with 2mm pellets flavoured with the Hinders Tutti Booster Liquid.

Harry Match Setup at Boddington

He started at 50m but 10 minutes in to the match he saw a couple of fish top at 30m so quickly dropped back shorter and have been quickly rewarded with a nice carp. His next bite came at 60m about an hour in to the match but after this fish everyone around him stopped getting bites. With an hour to go he went long to 95m and managed two more carp.

He weighed 36lbs 13oz but unfortunately his partner who drew peg 4 on the dam wasn’t able to get a bite.
