Fieldtester Mark Pollard had a great weekend fishing. He fished Saturday Rookery Waters teams of three. Drawing on Jay lake peg 18 not a good draw but caught 34lb of Carp and F1’s fishing Hinders 2.3mm Carp Pellets dampened with Maggot and Maggot on the hook. He came 3rd on the lake and the team one on the day with Stuart Bracey 3rd and Richard Bond winning his lake. Pollys team are lying second with one round to go.
Sunday Polly fished the March open on the Old River Nene with 90 anglers
he drew peg 1 a good draw and won the match with 30lb 4ozs of mainly Roach
He started on 5m with Polly’s Punchcrumb for a few fish but caught mainly over against the boat at 10m on pinkie feeding Squatts and cupping in My Supercharged Natural Blackwith a little brown crumb added.
