Two day event with Team Matrix - Damian Green

I fished the very prestigious 33 teams of 5 Sensas challenge two day event on the Gloucester canal with my team Matrix and the day before we all felt that we had a good practice and had a few things sorted for the two day event.

On the first day we had a mixed bag of results consisting of a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th for a total of 28 points and 12th overall. Day 2 we had a mixed bag of results again consisting of a 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th, 11th and this gave us a total of 33 points and overall we scored 61 point to end up 15th.

On day 1 and day 2 I have been 4th in section which is consistent results without catching any Bream, on both days I have caught a mixture of small skimmers and roach. I have fished a 5-6 metre line with small amounts of joker and a 13 metre line with 60% leam and 40% Hinders Supercharged Extra Fine Canal Groundbait and Betalin with 200g of joker plus a few dead pinkies. It has been a very enjoyable weekend fishing against the best teams around. I also had 3 days of fishing with my new Matrix mtx 4 which I can say is a brilliant pole.
